REPRINTS FOR FAMILY
If the quality of old prints is good and the scan DPI (dots per inch) high then the results can be much better than expected. Christmas presents for all the family!
35MM SLIDES FROM BACK OF DRAWER
Here is one of 70+ slides I have just scanned for a customer here in Newbury. Found at the back of a drawer they were from the late 60s and early 70s and of amazing quality (down to the camera really).
BIG BIRTHDAY PHOTO BOOK
A collection of slides, negatives and printed photographs were scanned and used in a large format photo book for a 90th birthday present. All images were also concatenated into a movie and shown on a big TV.
TWO FAMILY'S COLLECTIONS
Two family's worth of 35mm slides from the 1960s and 1970s were scanned and turned into 2 separate photo books so the relatives could once again see themselves in their era defining clothes.
ONE OFF SCAN AND FRAME
A selection of 1960s B&W prints were scanned and several copies printed. The copies were framed and distributed throughout the family.
This was a family's slide collection and many images showed the challenges of amateur photography - getting the pictures in focus! But this did not matter as a montage poster was created and because the images were relatively small this meant the focus was quite acceptable.
WEDDING PHOTO ALBUM
All prints from our own photo album were scanned and shown on the TV, just like I remember my own dad's projector slide shows from the 70s.
